Franceschetti shoes

Franceschetti, in partnership con la Fondazione Mazzoleni Onlus, che opera nel campo dell’arte e da sempre pone grande attenzione alle nuove leve emergenti, presenta a Pitti Immagine Uomo la collezione “Passi nell’Arte”: cinque modelli di calzatura in cui l’opera è impressa con accurata fedeltà sul cuoio della suola, grazie ad una tecnica artigianale simile al tattoo. Dall’incontro tra opera d’arte e prodotto d’eccellenza nasce quindi una nuova forma espressiva: nel cammino la suola progressivamente si consuma e così l’opera che vi è impressa è destinata a mutare, fino a scomparire. Nulla è per sempre. La calzatura si appropria simbolicamente del linguaggio dell’arte e diviene così performance unica e irripetibile.

Franceschetti, in partnership with Fondazione Mazzoleni Onlus, which operates in the field of  art and has always paid great attention to new emerging talent, presents at Pitti Immagine Uomo the capsule collection “Steps in the art”: five shoe models in which the art work is impressed with accurate fidelity on the leather of the sole, thanks to a craft technique quite similar to the tattoo.
A new expressive form arises from the encounter between a work of art and a product ofexcellence: in the journey the sole progressively wears out and so the work impressed on it is destined to change, until it disappears. Nothing is forever. The footwear symbolically
appropriates the language of art and thus becomes a unique and unrepeatable performance.
